E. Input Shaft Bearing Retainer Seal Removal

- Tools Required:
- J 29369-2 Input Shaft Oil Seal Remover
- J 23907 Slide Hammer

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT






1. Rubber seal lip with pliers to expose the metal lip around the seal.
A. Install J 29369-2 below metal lip of seal.
B. Expand to finger tight.
C. Turn five additional turns.
D. Install J 23907 into J 29369-2 and remove the retainer oil seal from the retainer.
2. Clean the gasket material from the retainer.

Inspect
- Input shaft bearing retainer for wear or damage.
