Air Delivery and Temperature Controls: Manual

HEATER CONTROL
The Air Temperature Valve Electric Actuator positions the temperature door according to the temperature setting of the temperature control on the Heater and A/C Controller (W/ C60) or Heater Controller (W/O C60). For the full cold temperature setting the temperature control returns approximately 1.0 volt to the outside air valve actuator motor. When the temperature setting is changed to full HOT, the temperature door is moved to the warm positions. and the potentiometer output rises to about 12 Volts. For a temperature setting in the mid range. the temperature door positioned to a point where the potentiometer output is the same as the preprogrammed value for the selected setting.

Should the motor stall when changing the door location, voltage is removed by the Heater and A/C Controller (W/ C60) or Heater Controller (W/O C60) after 45 seconds to protect the motor. This sequence will be repeated each time the temperature control switch is changed.
