Door Lock Operation - Switches

LOCK
When either the LH or RH Power Door Lock Switch is pressed to the LOCK position, voltage is supplied from the CIG LIT Fuse, through the ORN (640) wire, through the Door Lock Switch to Terminal F of the Door Lock Relay Assembly. This voltage energizes the Lock Relay Coil. allowing voltage to flow through the relay to the Door Lock Motors, locking all doors. Ground for the LH Front Door Lock Motor. Liftgate Release Motor (if equipped), and Rear Door Lock Motor (if equipped), is supplied through the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver. Ground for the other Two motors is supplied through the Door Lock Relay Assembly.

UNLOCK
When either of the Front Door Lock Switches is pressed to the UNLOCK position, voltage is supplied from PWR ACC Circuit Breaker unlocking the doors. Ground for the motors are supplied through the Door Lock Relay.
