Coolant Crossover Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Remove the nut holding the fuel air bleed (shredder) valve.
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
3. Remove the clamps from the bypass hose.
4. Remove the bolts from the coolant crossover.
5. Remove the coolant crossover.
6. Remove the bypass hose.
7. Remove the gaskets.

INSTALLATION





1. Install the gaskets to the heads.
2. Install the coolant crossover.





3. Install the bolts and stud/nut.
^ Tighten the bolts and the stud/nut to 42 Nm (31 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the bypass hose and the clamps.
5. Install the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
6. Install the fuel air bleed (spreader) valve and the nut.
^ Tighten the stud/nut and the nut to 41 Nm (31 ft. lbs.).
