- Two band assemblies
- Three planetary gear sets
- One sprag clutch
- Two roller clutches
- A control valve body assembly

The electrical components of this unit are as follows:
- Two shift solenoid valves, 1-2 and 2-3
- A Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid valve
- A transmission Pressure Control Solenoid valve (PC Sol. Valve)
- An Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature sensor (TFT)
- An Automatic Transmission Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position switch (TFP Val Position Sw) assembly An Output Speed Sensor (OSS) An Input Speed Sensor (ISS)
