Overdrive Carrier Assembly Assemble

- Tools Required:
- J 36850 TRANSJEL (TM)
- Or Equivalent





1. Install the overdrive roller clutch assembly (512).
2. Install the overrun clutch housing thrust bearing (513). Retain with J 36850 or equivalent.





Important: Keep all washers and bearings together with the overdrive carrier pinion gear and pin. The pinion gears, washers, and bearings must be reinstalled in the original locations.

3. Install the overdrive pinion carrier gears (518) and the thrust washers (515, 516), one at a time, into the overdrive carrier (514).
4. Install the overdrive carrier pinion gear pins (519) into the original location.





5. Install the overdrive carrier pinion gear pin retainer (520).
6. Install the overdrive carrier pinion gear pin retainer retaining ring (521). Align the pinion gear pins with the retainer slots.
