Underhood Convenience Lamp

An Underhood Lamp is provided on all models. An Underhood Reel Lamp is provided with the TR9 Optional Lighting Package. The Underhood Lamp and the optional Underhood Reel Lamp are powered at all times from the HORN Fuse through the ORN (740) wire. The lamps are grounded at Ground G103 by the BLK (150) wire.

The Underhood Lamp is operated by an internal switch which is responsive to level. When the hood is closed, the switch contacts are open. When the hood is raised, the switch responds to the change in orientation and the switch contacts close.

The Underhood Reel Lamp has a local ON-OFF switch for lamp control. The reel lamp has a PUSH latch which, when pulled out, releases the lamp head. The lamp may then be pulled Out from the reel for use anywhere in the general area. When use is completed, the reel's cord can be rewound on the reel by use of the RETRACT handle.
