Description:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel.
2. The bolts retaining the instrument panel passenger knee bolster to the knee bolster brackets.
3. Pull on the instrument panel passenger knee bolster to disengage the retainers.
4. The instrument panel passenger knee bolster from the vehicle.

INSPECT
^ The instrument panel passenger knee bolster for broken or missing retainers and replace as necessary.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The instrument panel passenger knee bolster to the vehicle.
2. Push on the instrument panel passenger knee bolster to engage the retainers.
3. The bolts to retain the instrument panel passenger knee bolster to the knee bolster brackets.

TIGHTEN
The bolts to retain the instrument panel passenger knee bolster to the knee bolster brackets to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
