Description:

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The instrument panel carrier to the vehicle.
2. The air ducts to the instrument panel carrier.
3. The screws to retain the air ducts to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten
^ The bolts to retain the air ducts to the instrument panel carrier to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. The heater and air conditioning vacuum harness connector at the lower right of the cowl area.
5. The wiring harness retainers to the instrument panel carrier.
6. Carefully rotate the instrument panel carrier in and upward for further component access.
7. The bolts to retain the instrument panel carrier to the vehicle.
8. The instrument cluster wiring harness to the instrument panel carrier.
9. The nuts retaining the steering column to the instrument panel carrier.
10. The bolt retaining the steering column wiring harness to the instrument panel carrier.
11. The push-in fasteners retaining the radio and heater and air conditioning wiring harnesses to the instrument panel carrier.
12. The heater and A/C control.
13. The instrument panel compartments (if equipped).
14. The radio and the remote CD player mounting brackets.
15. The remote CD player (if equipped).
16. The radio (if equipped).
17. The engine cover.
18. The instrument panel upper trim pad.
19. The instrument panel passenger knee bolster inner and outer brackets.
20. The instrument panel driver knee bolster deflector assembly and the driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets.
21. The instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel.
22. The instrument cluster assembly.
23. Enable the SIR system.
24. The negative battery cable(s).
