Self-Diagnostics

The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) performs self-diagnostics when the ignition is turned to the RUN position and also when the vehicle is moving. The EBCM can detect and isolate system failures. When a malfunction is detected, the EBCM sets a corresponding Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
