Module Assembly

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle and properly support.

EHCU Cover To Fram:

3. Three Electro-Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU) shield bolts.
4. EHCU shield.





5. Four electrical connectors from the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
6. Four bolts that fasten the EBCM to the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV).
7. EBCM from the BPMV. A light amount of force may be required.

NOTE:
^ Clean BPMV with a clean, dry cloth.

CAUTION:
^ Do not pry on the EBCM or BPMV with a mechanical aid. Excessive force will cause damage to the EBCM.
^ Do not reuse the EBCM gasket or mounting bolts. Always install a new gasket and mounting bolts with the replacement EBCM.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New EBCM gasket onto BPMV.

CAUTION: Do not use RTV or any other type of sealant on the EBCM gasket or mating surfaces.

2. EBCM to BPMV.
3. Gasket and insure correct alignment.
4. Four new EBCM bolts.
^ Tighten Four bolts to 5 Nm (39 inch lbs.) in an X pattern.
5. Four EBCM electrical connectors.
6. EHCU shield.
7. Three EHCU shield bolts.
^ Tighten three bolts to 12 Nm (8 ft. lbs.)
8. Lower vehicle.
9. Negative battery cable.
10. Revise tire calibration using Scan Tool and check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)s. Testing and Inspection
