CAUTION: Refer to "Service Precautions".

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The coolant reservoir partially from the vehicle.
2. The negative battery cable from the battery.
3. The positive battery cable from the battery.
4. The positive lead to the junction block.
5. The positive lead to the generator.
6. The cable from the vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The cable to the vehicle.
2. The positive lead to the generator
Tighten
^ The generator lead nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. The positive lead to the junction block.
Tighten
^ The junction block nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
4. The positive battery cable to the battery.
5. The negative battery cable to the battery.
Tighten
^ The battery terminals to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
6. The coolant reservoir to the vehicle.
