Generator Mounting (Gasoline Engines 100 Ampere):




Generator Mounting (Gasoline Engines 124 Ampere):






CAUTION: Refer to "Service Precautions".

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. The negative battery cable.
2. The coolant reservoir.
3. The air cleaner from the vehicle.
4. The upper fan shroud.
5. The serpentine belt from the generator.
6. The heater hose pipe from the generator.
7. The oil fill bracket from the generator bracket.
8. The generator mounting bolts.
9. The generator from the engine.
10. The electrical connectors.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The electrical connectors to the generator.
Tighten
^ The output ("BAT") terminal nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
2. The generator to the engine.
3. The generator mounting bolts.
Tighten
^ The generator front mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
^ The generator rear mounting bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
4. The oil fill bracket to the generator bracket.
5. The heater hose pipe to the generator.
6. The serpentine belt to the generator.
7. The upper fan shroud.
8. The air cleaner to the vehicle.
9. The coolant reservoir.
10. The negative battery cable to the battery.
