Diesel MFI Pump: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION: The fuel injection pump is an electronically controlled device. Handle carefully in order to prevent damage to internal and external components.

1. Inspect the fuel injection pump body for damage.
2. Inspect the mounting flange for damage.
3. Inspect the fuel injection pump for evidence of fuel leakage.
4. Inspect the injection line fittings for stripping.5.Inspect the electrical connectors for damage or corrosion.
