Bearing and Seal Replacement

- Tools Required:
- J 8092 Driver Handle
- J 36370 Drive Sprocket Needle Bearing Installer
- J 36371 Front and Rear Output Shaft Bearing Installer
- J 36372 Input Gear Needle Bearing Installer
- J 36373 Input Gear Ball Bearing Installer

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Use Dexron III automatic transmission fluid or the equivalent where needed in assembly.
1. Needle bearing into the rear case half using J 36372 and J 8092.
- Bearing must be flush with boss on the case housing.





2. Front output bearing into front case half using J 37371.
3. Front output bearing snap ring into front case half.





4. Bearing into rear retainer housing using J 36371.
5. Mainshaft pilot bearing into the input gear using J 36372 and J 8092.
6. Thrust washer into the planetary carrier.





7. Input gear to planetary carrier snap ring.
8. Bearing onto the input near using J 36373.





9. Input bearing to the input gear snap ring.
10. Oil seal to the rear extension.
11. Input bearing retainer seal to the input bearing retainer.
12. Front output shaft seal to the front case half.





13. Magnet to front case half.
