Radiator: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain cooling system.
2. Upper fan shroud.
3. Upper insulators and brackets.
4. Upper and lower radiator hoses.
5. Transmission fluid cooler pipes.
6. Engine oil cooler pipes.
7. Lower fan shroud bolts and lower fan shroud.
8. Coolant recovery reservoir hose.
9. Radiator from the lower insulators and brackets.
^ Inspect all parts and connections for leaks and wear. Replace if necessary.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Radiator on the lower insulators.
2. Coolant recovery reservoir hose.
3. Lower fan shroud bolts and lower fan shroud.
^ Tighten bolts to 9 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
4. Engine oil cooler pipes.
^ Tighten fittings to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Transmission fluid cooler pipes.
^ Tighten fittings to 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
6. Upper and lower radiator hoses.
7. Upper insulators.
8. Upper fan shroud and upper fan shroud bolts.
^ Tighten bolts to 9 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
9. Fill cooling system.
^ Leak test.
