Fuel Gauge

The fuel gage is an electrical instruments that measures an electrical current from a variable resistor in the fuel tank. The variable resistance is controlled by a float. When the fuel tank is full, the resistance is high. The fuel gage pointer is moved to its maximum position, which is FULL on the gage face. For diagnostic information. refer to SECTION 8A.
