Knee Bolster Replacement

Knee Bolster:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Set the parking brake and block the wheels.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Release the parking brake release cable from the parking brake lever.
4. Left-side and center instrument panel sound insulators. Instrument Panel Sound Insulator
5. Screw that retains the courtesy lamp the knee bolster.
6. Screws that retain the knee bolster to the instrument panel.
7. Lap cooler duct.
8. Lighter outlet electrical connector.
9. Knee bolster from the vehicle.



INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Lighter outlet electrical connector.
2. Lap cooler duct.
3. Knee bolster to the vehicle.
4. Screws that retain the knee bolster to the instrument panel.

TIGHTEN
^ Torx head screws to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
^ Hex head screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

5. Courtesy lamp and screw that retains the courtesy lamp the knee bolster.

TIGHTEN Screw to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

6. Left-side and center instrument panel sound insulators.
7. Parking brake release cable to the parking brake lever.
8. Negative battery cable.
