Mirrors: Description and Operation
Voltage is supplied to the Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror Switch at all times through the CTSY Fuse and the ORN (40) wire. Ground is provided through the BLK (150) wire and Ground G102, G104, G113, G115 or G116.Rotating the Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror Switch fully clockwise allows for control of the RH Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror. Rotating the switch fully counterclockwise allows for control of the LH Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror.
With the switch set for the LH Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror, moving the switch handle to the left connects the ORN (40) wire and the LT BLU (82) wire to the YEL (1496) wire and the BLK (150) wire, and the mirror will then move to the left. Moving the switch handle to the right reverses polarity to the motor, and the mirror moves to the right.
Moving the switch handle up connects the LT BLU (82) wire to the ORN (40) wire and the YEL (1496) wire to the BLK (150) wire, and the mirror will then move up. Moving the switch handle down reverses polarity to the mirror motor and the mirror moves down.
