Forward Clutch Piston Travel Check

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Use feeler gauges to check the forward clutch plate travel. Check travel between the forward clutch backing plate retainer ring and the forward clutch backing plate.
2. The forward clutch plate travel should be 0.75-1.60 mm (0.030-0.063 inch).
3. Select the proper backing to obtain the correct travel. Refer to "FORWARD CLUTCH BACKING PLATE SELECTION." Backing Plate Travel
