NOTE: Vehicles must be jounced three times before checking alignment to eliminate false geometry readings.

For 4WD and AWD only: Front suspension "Z" height dimension 122 mm ± 6.0 mm (4.8 in. ± 0.2 in.); left and right side to be equal within 6 mm.


Caster: (Pickups with ZR2/Z85/ZM6/G51)
Service Checking 2° ± 1°
Service Setting (B,E) 2° ± 0.5°

Caster: (All others)
Service Checking (C) 3° ± 1°
Service Setting (B) 3° ± 0.5°

Camber: (All)
Service Checking (C) 0° ± 1°
Service Setting (B) 0° ± 0.5°

Toe-In (Degrees Per Wheel):
Service Checking (D) 0.05° ± 0.1°
Service Setting (D) 0.05° ± 0.05°

Total Toe-In
Service Checking (D) 0.1° ± 0.2°
Service Setting (D) 0.1° ± 0.1°


B. Left and right side to be equal within 0.5°.
C. Left and right side to be equal within 1.0°.
D. Steering wheel must be held in the straight ahead position with ± 3.0°.
Front individual toe must be equalized relative to rear wheel thrust angle.
E. GVW alignment is the same for all vehicle.
