Bearing and Seal Replacement

- Tools Required:
- J 8092 Driver Handle
- J 33833 Bearing Installer
- J 36372 Bearing Installer
- J 33843 Seal Installer
- J 33831 Seal Installer
- J 33832 Bearing Installer

INSTALL OR CONNECT

NOTE: Use Dexron(R) III automatic transmission fluid or the equivalent for lubricant during assembly.

1. Needle bearings into the rear case half using J 33832 and J 8092.
- Bearing must be flush with the boss on case housing.
2. Front output bearing into the front case half using J 8092 and J 33833.
3. Front output bearing snap ring.





4. Bearing into the rear retainer housing using J 33833 and J 8092.
5. Bearing into the input gear using J 36372 and J 8092.





6. Thrust washer into planetary carrier.
7. Input gear and thrust washer into planetary carrier.
8. input gear to the planetary carrier snap ring.
9. Bearing into front case half using J 36372.
10. Oil seal into the rear extension using J 33843.
11. Input bearing retainer seal into the input bearing retainer using J 33831.





12. Front output shaft seal into to the front case half using J 33834.





13. Magnet into front case half.
