External Components

INSTALL OR CONNECT





1. Detent plunger, detent spring, O-ring seal, and detent plug the front case half.

Tighten
- Detent Plug to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).





2. Vehicle speed sensor and O-ring to the rear retainer housing.

Tighten
- Sensor to 31 Nm (23 lb. ft.).

3. Four wheel drive actuator switch and O-ring to front case half.

Tighten
- Actuator switch to 24 Nm (17 lb. ft.).

4. Front output yolk, rubber sealing washer, metal washer, and yoke nut.

Tighten
- Yoke nut to 200 Nm (148 lb. ft.).
