Dome Lamp: Description and Operation

MIL vans incorporate a delayed interior lighting system. The system functions as follows:
^ Dome lamps will illuminate when any door is opened.
^ Dome lamps will remain on 20 seconds after the last door is closed.
^ When the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position, the delay will be canceled and the dome lamps will go out.
^ There will be no illuminated entry function when the dome lamp defeat switch is in the "OFF" position.
^ The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system has a 40 second delay on "UNLOCK" and a 2 second delay on "LOCK".
