Horn System
DRL Relay:
The horn system originates at the HORN/DOME fuse. The circuit goes from the fuse block to the horn relay, then splits. One branch goes through the relay coil to the horn switch in the steering column, and the other goes through the relay contacts to the horn.
When the horn switch is closed, the horn relay coil grounds. Current flows in the coil, the relay contacts close, and the horns sound.
The horn relay is located in the convenience center, under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
