Evaporator Outlet Underbody Side Tube

Evaporator Outlet Tube (Front):

Auxiliary Evaporator Underbody Front Inlet Tube:

Auxiliary Evaporator Underbody Side Tube Assemblies:

Auxiliary Evaporator Underbody Rear Tube Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.
2. Auxiliary evaporator outlet underbody side tube from rear tube.
3. O-ring seal.
4. Auxiliary evaporator outlet underbody side tube from compressor and condenser hose assembly.
5. O-ring seal.
6. Bolts retaining clips on outlet side tube to the body.
7. Auxiliary evaporator outlet side tube from vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Auxiliary evaporator outlet side tube to vehicle.
2. Bolts retaining clips on outlet side tube to the body.

Tighten

- Bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. New O-ring seal.
- Coat O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
4. Auxiliary evaporator outlet underbody side tube to compressor and condenser hose assembly.

Tighten

- Fitting to 47.5 N.m (35 lb ft).

5. New O-ring seal.
- Coat O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
6. Auxiliary evaporator outlet underbody side tube to auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube.

Tighten

- Fitting to 47.5 N.m (35 lb ft).

7. Refrigerant to the system.
- Check the system for leaks.
