Low and Reverse Clutch Piston Installation

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the transmission (low/reverse clutch outer, center, inner) seals on the low/reverse piston.
2. Lubricate the seals with transjel or an equivalent.





3. Install the low/reverse piston into the case. The notch in the piston must be aligned with the window.





4. Install the low/reverse clutch spring assembly.
- Using the clutch spring compressor, compress the low/reverse clutch spring assembly.
- Install the low/reverse clutch retainer ring.
