Interior Lamps

Voltage is supplied at all times from the CTSY (Fuse 3) to the Dome/Reading Lamps, Vanity Lamps, and I/P Compartment Lamp. The Courtesy and Dome Lamps turn on when a ground path is provided by the Headlamp and Panel Dimmer Switch or one of the Door Jamb Switches.

The I/P Compartment and Vanity Lamps have their own Switches that provide ground paths when their Switches close.

Voltage is supplied at all times from the AUX PWR (Fuse 7) to front and rear Power Outlets. Front Power Outlets ground is supplied through Ground G200, while rear Power Outlet ground is supplied through Ground G400. Voltage is supplied at all times from CIG LTR (Fuse 13) to the Cigarette Lighter, ground is supplied through Ground G200.

Component Illumination Lamps
When the Headlamp and Panel Dimmer Switch is turned to the PARK or HEAD position, Voltage is applied through the PK LPS (Fuse 9) and the closed contacts of the Headlamp and Panel Dimmer Switch to the Component Illumination Lamps. Grounds G105, G107 and G200 provide grounds to Component Illumination Lamps completing the path and these Lamps light.

Illuminated Entry W/RKE
When a door is opened, the Illuminated Entry System (part of the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver) is activated. After the last door is closed, the Dome Lamps will remain illuminated for 20 seconds or until the Ignition Switch is turned on which cancels this function. Voltage is supplied to the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver at all tunes through CTSY (Fuse 3). The ground Path is provided by BLK (1050) wire through Ground G200. The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver senses a ground signal from GRY (157) wire when a door is opened. The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver then provides a ground path to WHT (156) wire which allows the Lamps to illuminate.

Illuminated Entry W/O RKE
When a door is opened, the Interior Lamp Control Module is activated. After the last door is closed, the Dome Lamps will remain illuminated for 20 seconds or until the Ignition Switch is turned on which cancels this function. Voltage is supplied to the Interior Lamp Control Module at all times through CTSY (Fuse 3). The ground path is provided by BLK (1050) wire through Ground G200. The Interior Lamp Control Module senses a ground signal from GRY (157) wire when a door is opened.
