Evaporator Underbody Front Inlet Tube

Evaporator Inlet Tube:




Auxiliary Evaporator Underbody Front Inlet Tube:






Remove or Disconnect

1. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.
2. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube from the evaporator inlet tube at the accumulator.
3. O-ring seal.
4. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube from the auxiliary evaporator underbody side inlet tube.
5. O-ring seal.
6. Bolts retaining clips on tube to the body.
7. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube to the vehicle.
2. Bolts retaining clips on tube to the body.

Tighten

^ Bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. New O-ring seal.
^ Coat O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
4. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube to the auxiliary evaporator underbody side inlet tube.

Tighten

^ Fitting to 27.5 N.m (20 lb ft).

5. New O-ring seal.
^ Coat O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
6. Auxiliary evaporator underbody front inlet tube to the evaporator inlet tube at the accumulator.

Tighten

^ Fitting to 27.5 N.m (20 lb ft).

7. Refrigerant to the system.
^ Check the system for leaks.
