Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. CHECK condition of WINDOWS Circuit Breaker. If Circuit Breaker is in good condition, use the following diagnostic procedures. If the Circuit Breaker is open or Hot to touch, LOCATE and REPAIR source of overload and replace Circuit Breaker.
2. CHECK for mechanical failures or binding.
3. If only the Driver's Auto Down feature only does not operate, REPLACE the LH Front Power Window Master Switch.
^ CHECK for a broken (Or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (See Diagnostic Aids for General Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
