Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Service and Repair

CAUTION: An engine can be damaged if it is operated without crankcase ventilation. Therefore, it is important to perform the "Functional Check". Refer to Procedures / Crankcase Ventilation System Diagnosis. Testing and Inspection

^ Replace crankcase ventilation components as diagnosis requires. The recommended replacement parts are listed in the Specifications section of the owners manual of the vehicle.
^ Periodically, inspect the hoses and clamps and replace any showing signs of deterioration.
