LubricateSteering and Suspension
Lubricate the chassis components. Lubricate the front suspension, ball joints, steering linkage, transmission shift linkage, transfer case shift linkage, parking brake cable guides, rear driveline center splines. Ball joints should not be lubricated unless their temperature is -12 degrees C (10 degrees F) or higher or they could be damaged.
Inspect
Fluid - Differential
Inspect front/rear axle fluid level and add fluid as needed. Inspect axle seals for leaking.
Coolant Line/Hose
Inspect the coolant hoses and replace the hoses if the following conditions exist; cracking, swelling, deterioration. Tighten all of the clamps (except the constant tension clamps). Remove debris and clean the outside of the radiator and air conditioning condenser. Wash the radiator neck. Pressure test the radiator and the cap.
Air Cleaner Housing
Inspect the air intake system installation to assure that gaskets are properly sealed and that all hose connections, fasteners and other components are tight. Also check to be sure that the air cleaner housing is properly seated and the cover fits tightly. Tighten connections and fasteners or replace damaged parts as necessary. U.S. vehicles only.
