Troubleshooting Hints - Heated Seats
1. CHECK that the Heated Seats Circuit Breaker. If the Circuit Breaker is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of overload and RESET Circuit Breaker.2. CHECK that G202 is clean and tight.
3. If neither Heated Seat operates and the Power Seat Heater Switch is inoperative, the LOCATE and REPAIR the open in the ORN (1840) wire between the IP Fuse Block and the Power Seat Heater Switch.
4. CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction GOOD in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
5. CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures". Diagnostic Aids
