Upper Intake Manifold Torque and Sequence

Apply sealer GM P/N 12345493 or equivalent to a minimum of eight threads of the upper intake manifold bolts.





1. Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts (1-8) a first pass in sequence to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
2. Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts (1-8) a final pass in sequence to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
