Clock
1. In order to set the clock display, the ignition lock cylinder must be in the ACCESSORY or RUN position. The radio may be on or off. If the radio is on, the display must be on the time of day. The clock cannot be set when the display is the radio frequency display.2. The MINUTES portion of the clock display is set by pressing the SET button. Within 5 seconds, press the SEEK button and hold in the button until the correct minutes are displayed. Press the right side of the SEEK button in order to increase the minutes. Press the left side of the SEEK button in order to decrease the minutes.
3. The HOUR portion of the clock display is set by pressing the SET within 5 seconds, press the SCAN button and hold it in until the correct hour is displayed. When the SCAN button is released, the seconds counter of the clock automatically becomes zero, enabling the next minute to contain a full 60 seconds. This feature allows the clock to be synchronized to the nearest second.
When the SET button is pressed, the SET indicator will appear on the display for approximately 5 seconds. If the SCAN or SEEK buttons are pressed after the SET button is pressed and before the SET indicator turns off, the SET indicator will stay on while the clock is being set and then will turn oft about 5 seconds after the SCAN or SEEK button has been released.
If electrical power is interrupted (by a battery disconnection, a fuse removal, etc.), reset the clock display after power is restored.
