Disc Brake System: Service and Repair

Make 20 stops from 50 km/h (30 mph) using medium and firm brake pedal pressure.

IMPORTANT: Avoid overheating the brakes during this procedure.

Break in or burnish new brake linings under the following conditions:
^ When replacing the brake shoes. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement.
^ When refinishing the rotors. Refer to Refinishing Brake Rotors.
