General Description

The windshield/washer system consists of the following components:
^ A permanent-magnet wiper motor assembly
^ A transmission assembly
^ The wiper arm and blade assemblies
^ A washer solvent container
^ A wiper/washer switch assembly

The following components are mounted on the solvent container:
^ A washer pump (or pumps)
^ A solvent level sensor

A printed circuit board in the wiper motor cover assembly controls the following functions:
^ Pulse
^ Timing
^ Demand wash

The wiper motor is equipped with Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) suppression.
