Oil Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Removal under Engine Unit Repair.
3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Oil Pump Removal under Engine Unit Repair.





INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Install a NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer.

1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Installation under Engine Unit Repair.
2. Install the oil pan.
