Valve Lifter Installation

1. Coat the valve lifter rollers with prelube GM P/N 12345501 or equivalent.
2. If reusing the valve lifters, install in their original location.
3. Install the valve lifters.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





4. Install the valve lifter pushrod guides.
Tighten the valve lifter pushrod guide bolts to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
