Water Pump Installation

1. Install the water pump gaskets.
2. Install the water pump bypass hose to the pump.
3. Loosely install the water pump bypass hose clamps.
4. Install the water pump.
5. Install the water pump bolts.
Tighten the water pump bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

6. Tighten the water pump bypass hose clamps.
Tighten the water pump bypass clamps to 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.).
