Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Use a Scan Tool in order to erase the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)s in the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) memory. Verify proper system operation and absence of DTCs when the clearing procedure completes. The EBCM will not permit DTC clearing until all DTCs have been displayed. Also, DTCs cannot be cleared by unplugging the EBCM, by disconnecting the battery cables, or by turning the ignition OFF.
