Ensure that the sunroof is in the flush position (closed and down) at the beginning of the test. Use a hex-head wrench at the motor in order to manually move the sunroof. This action verifies that the sunroof is in the flush position. The flush position is the point at which the LS3 contacts change state.
Diagnostic Aids
IMPORTANT: Use the appropriate probe from the J 35616-A Connector Test Adapter kit in order to probe the body bussed electrical center (BBEC) in the following table. Use of the appropriate probe prevents damage to the BBEC.
^ Visually inspect the wiring and connectors.
^ Refer to Wiring Systems for intermittents and poor connections.
