General Description

The windshield/washer system consists of the following components:
- A permanent-magnet wiper motor assembly
- A transmission assembly
- The wiper arm and blade assemblies
- A washer solvent container
- A wiper/washer switch assembly

The following components are mounted on the solvent container:
- A washer pump (or pumps)
- A solvent level sensor

A printed circuit board in the wiper motor cover assembly controls the following functions:
- Pulse
- Timing
- Demand wash

The wiper motor is equipped with Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) suppression.
