The New Venture Gear NV1500 (109 mm) five speed manual transmission is available as RPO MW3. The transmission has the following features:
- Synchronized shifting in all forward gears
- Constant mesh helical gearing for reduced noise
- Overspeed inhibitor from low to first speed gears
- Dual cone low speed gear and 1ST speed gear synchronizer
- A shift tower mounted shift lever
