Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. CHECK TURN B/U Fuse by visual inspection.
2. CHECK Backup Lamps for damage to filament or corrosion between bulb and socket.
3. CHECK adjustment of Park/Neutral Position and Backup lamps Switch.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure could prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedure).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
