Troubleshooting Hints
1. CHECK the condition of the LIGHTING Maxi Fuse, Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Fuse (Fuse 15) and the GAUGES Fuse (Fuse 4). If any Fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR source of overload. Then, REPLACE Fuse.2. CHECK that grounds G100, G101, and G110 are clean and tight.
3. CHECK the LH and RH Low and High Beam filaments. REPLACE if open.
4. CHECK the High Beam Indicator filament. REPLACE if open.
5. CHECK the DRL indicator filament. REPLACE if open.
6. CHECK that DRL Relay is securely mounted in the Convenience Center.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ CHECK for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
