Troubleshooting Hints
1. CHECK condition of the TURN B/U Fuse 16. If the fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR cause of the overload and REPLACE the fuse.2. CHECK that Grounds G400 and G401 are clean and tight.
3. If a single lamp does not illuminate, CHECK lamp for open filament. Also, CHECK for corrosion between bulb and socket.
4. If Backup Lamps do not turn off. ADJUST or REPLACE Park Neutral Position Switch.
^ CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a Continuity/Voltage check with a system disconnected. These Circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a Voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
