Front Inlet and Outlet Pipe

Remove or Disconnect

1. Drain the coolant.
2. The exhaust system as necessary.
3. The heat shields from the vehicle.
4. The heater hose connections from the water by-pass valve.
5. The heater hose connections at the intermediate pipe.
6. The retainers from the vehicles body.
7. The front inlet and outlet pipe from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. The front inlet and outlet pipe to the vehicle.
2. The retainers to the vehicles body.

Tighten
^ The retainers to the body to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. The heater hose connections at the intermediate pipe.
4. The heater hose connections from the water by-pass valve.
5. The heat shields from the vehicle.
6. The exhaust system as necessary.
7. Refill the coolant.
