Side Cargo Door Binds (Replace Hinge Pins and Bushings)

1996-2002 Chevrolet Express Van Models
1996-2002 GMC Savana Van Models Built Prior to April 16, 2002

This bulletin is being revised to add information to the labor time column of the warranty table. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 02-08-64-012 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

Condition

Some customers may comment that the side cargo (60/40) doors are hard to open or stiff.

Cause

The hinge pins may be corroded.

Correction

Replace the hinge pins and bushings following the instructions in the tool kit.
