Daytime Running Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE


1. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
2. Remove the bolt (2) that retains the DRL diode to the left inside knee bolster bracket (6).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the DRL diode.
4. Remove the DRL diode (4) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE


1. Install the DRL diode (4) to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the DRL diode.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the DRL diode retaining bolt (2) to the left inside knee bolster bracket (6).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
